Mel Prenovitz

Mel Prenovitz, a pioneer of video endoscopy, founded MP Video in 1974 leading to the design and manufacture of the first arthroscopy video cameras to OEM global medical companies achieving 50% global market share for five consecutive years.

Following the sale of MP Video, Mel became a founding principal of The Incus Group providing interim management and consulting services to a broad range of industries. Concentrating in the Life Sciences field along with the growth of Laparoscopic Surgery, he recognized a method to improve visualization that would simplify the procedure for the surgeon and make it safer for the patient leading to the development of the VisionPort.

Mel received a BSBA from Babson College. He holds various Board and Advisor positions of professional, industrial and philanthropic organizations.
